Reason for choosing to establish the company in Tokyo

We have set up an office in Tokyo in 2020 and established our Japanese subsidiary in July 2021.There are two main reasons for this.

We think that Hong Kong and Tokyo are very similar. Both cities are highly international and welcome new technologies. However, both also face serious challenges with aging populations and a significant number of physically challenged individuals. These people need more devices to assist with their daily lives, such as devices that help them go out.

Our eco-friendly wheelchairs can carry people smoothly and safely, even up and down stairs, so we want to introduce these products to the Japanese market. Additionally, some elderly homes and supermarkets need helper robots for tasks like household chores and cleaning due to labor shortages and rising labor costs. We aim to promote our power-saving wheelchairs in Tokyo and expand globally to bring joy and convenience to people all over the world.

User feedback on BDCT services

There are many regulations when establishing a business in other countries, so it was helpful to know about a government service like BDCT. We prioritized Tokyo because we were fortunate to meet BDCT. They consistently keep in touch with us and provide market information, such as details about similar products in Japan and how ours differ. They assist us with the business process step-by-step, which is very helpful and useful. We feel that BDCT is very professional.

Outlook for future business development

We hope to find some local companies in Tokyo to explore potential cooperation. We aim to establish our company in Tokyo and collaborate with local partners to promote our products. Additionally, we hope to bring high-quality robotic products, designed and developed by Japanese companies, to Hong Kong and mainland China. By maintaining a strong relationship with BDCT, we aspire to achieve success in our Tokyo business endeavors.
