Reason for choosing to establish the company in Tokyo

We have set up an office in Tokyo in 2020 and established our Japanese subsidiary in July 2021.There are two main reasons for this.

We found a great opportunity for business growth in Japan, driven by the extensive experience of our founder, his deep relationship with Japan, and the state of the payments industry in Japan. We chose Tokyo as our base because it is the center of the Japanese economy and many of our clients have their headquarters or offices there, making it the best location for business development. Furthermore, Tokyo attracts many talented people, which is a great advantage for the company's growth. In addition, there are many inbound clients, and Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides excellent supports, such as subsidies, making it an easy environment to do business.

User feedback on BDCT services

I learned about BDCT from Invest Tokyo's website and contacted them because we wanted to apply for a subsidy. We thought that submitting a huge number of documents to the government would be a huge hurdle, but the consultants were very helpful, and the support in the form of detailed checks and feedback on the application documents was really helpful. The fact that we were able to complete the communication through online meetings was also very much appreciated.

Outlook for future business development

In recent years, we have made good progress with large clients, and we intend to increase transactions with clients in the future. We also would like to contribute to the development of the payment infrastructure and industry in Tokyo and Japan as a whole. We would like to increase the number of use cases for B2B payments. We will also work on use cases for regional revitalization and infrastructure of railroad and transportation.
